STAR CUST.DISPLAY SCD122U GREY
International POS printer manufacturer Star Micronics has developed a
new generation USB powered customer display. The recently launched
SCD122 minimises cabling and reduces power consumption.
As the display is powered by the terminals USB port this limits the
amount of cabling required and offers a "greener" option given its low power consumption.
Continuing Stars focus on providing a number of features at purchase
the SCD122 includes a choice of support with a four position telescopic
pole, screw-down base and 175 x 110mm stand-alone base, offering
exceptional flexibility and versatility all in the one box.
Available in charcoal grey or Star white, the SCD122 benefits from
high speed data transfer using a 2.0 USB interface as well as an
easy-to-read wide angle 2 line x 20 character display (character size
3.5 x 5.0mm) with Cyrillic character support. Furthermore, Star offers a
highly compatible solution. The SCD122 is ESC/POS compatible (via dip
switch) and, with Star mode emulations supporting OPOS included on a
CD-ROM, installation could not be easier.
